What if I don’t need pick up every week?

That is perfectly fine! When you receive your text asking if you need pick up, simply ignore it if the answer is no. If the answer is yes, then and only then, you will be directed to make your payment.
 

what days do you pick up?

We normally pick up on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. This may vary due to our schedules. When you become a customer, you’ll be notified by text weekly about the available days.

what items can I recycle?

• aluminum cans

• tin cans

• plastic bottles (#1 and #2 plastics only)

• plastic grocery bags (or any bags that say “store drop off”)

• paper, paperboard, and cardboard (Our recycling center does not accept phone books or magazines, so we won’t be able to pick up those items.  If you don’t use a physical phone book, I would encourage you to opt out of receiving them in the future at this website: https://www.yellowpagesoptout.com/

• glass bottles/jars

do I need to rinse my Recyclables?

To an extent. If it is a bottle, jug, or jar that contained a dry food or powder, it is okay for crumbs to remain. If it contained a liquid that is sticky or prone to molding, or if it contained a wet food, these items should be rinsed.

do I have to sort my Recyclables?

Nope! It’s up to you! You’ll pay $8 for an UNSORTED bag or $5 for a SORTED bag.

To sort the recyclables, just place each type (cardboard, paper, aluminum, plastic) in their own bag (preferably a plastic grocery bag) and place all bags into the mesh bag. (Or one type can be placed directly in the mesh bag, with all of the other types separated in grocery bags).
